Berry delicious protein smoothie

It’s awkward to be sharing a protein smoothie recipe on Christmas Eve.

There is no Christmassy twist to this one, other than the fact that in Australia raspberries are in season right now. And delicious.

This recipe is a winner - and in our house will be on the menu for Christmas morning.

Christmas is a time of indulgence and, dare I say it, over indulgence. For me, making some decisions throughout the Christmas period that are good for my body and mind are a must. Alcohol free days (essential), healthy snacks (yes please), a ‘good’ breakfast (a no brainer).

So, here it is. Our berry delicious protein smoothie. It’s ready in a flash, tastes delicious and breakfast is sorted.

1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries (strawberries would be great too)

1 frozen banana

2 oranges (or about half a cup of orange juice)

1 scoop H2O vanilla protein powder

100ml of coconut water

100ml water

some ice cubes if you like your smoothie cold

Place in a blender and blitz until smooth.
